New Report Of Vehicles Being Rummaged Prompts Police Warning In Northern Westchester

After receiving multiple complaints of unlocked vehicles getting broken into at night, the New Castle Police Department is issuing a warning to residents in the area.

“We want to remind you to lock your cars at night and remove any valuables from them. Please keep an eye out for suspicious activity in your neighborhood. No one knows what is out of place better than you and your neighbors,” said Lt. James Carroll of the Patrol Division.

As always, those who observe any suspicious activity are urged to contact the New Castle Police at (914) 238-4422. In the event of an emergency, dial 911.
